Introductory chocolate‑making workshop

195 $ (taxes included) / person

350 $ (taxes included) / 2 people

Duration: about 5 hours

This is the ideal class to understand the basic principles of working with chocolate. The best part of this workshop is the hands‑on practice you’ll do yourself under the supervision of our experts. A short theoretical portion will be presented to you, along with a brief overview of the history of chocolate.

Next, your introduction to chocolate will continue by engaging all your senses. To the eye, its dark mahogany‑toned hue will shine with perfect uniformity. Milk chocolate will appear golden brown and lighter or darker depending on its cocoa content. To the touch, it will be firm and free of any brittleness. Then bring it to your nose: breathe in its subtle aromas, awakening your taste buds and delighting your senses.

In your hand it breaks, releasing a wave of flavors from this sweet delicacy. Finally, in the mouth it snaps cleanly between your teeth and crumbles. Its texture reveals itself to your palate—light yet powerful without overpowering—offering, much like a fine wine, a unique bouquet that may be harmonious, acidic, fruity, woody, or floral.

During this workshop you will also learn various techniques. You’ll leave with several of your own handmade creations, worth $50 per person.

The ChocoMotive team will do everything to make sure you have a wonderful and enjoyable day.

We look forward to seeing you!
